(born February 11, 1961 in Huntington, New York) is an American actress and a Bond girl starring in 1989's Licence to Kill with . Lowell spent much of her childhood traveling with her father James, who was a geologist. Immediately after high school, she was signed by the Ford modeling agency. She would model for such clients as and before turning to acting. Lowell's notable acting roles include those of Bond girl in the movie Licence to Kill (1989) and on the television drama , a character she reprised on its spinoff, Law & Order: Trial by Jury, as a judge. Lowell and married in 2002, after dating for several years. The couple have a son, , who was born prior to their marriage, in 2000. She was married to actor from 1989 to 1995 and has a daughter, Hannah Dunne, from that marriage. Her first marriage to fashion photographer was from 1984 to 1988. Lowell, like her husband, is a devoted supporter of preserving the culture of Tibet and practices Tibetan Buddhism.
